Jean Baxter

I have been sewing and piecing since my early teens and, like many other quilters started with English paper pieced hexagons. Since then I have made quilts for gifts and for sale and now mainly teach and try to expand my own skills.

I have recently started up a new local quilting group called Clarendon Park Quilters in the Clarendon Park area of Leicester. I also run a local knitting, crochet and stitchery group and teach knitting and crochet to small groups.

I am still working (but not for long!) I hope to expand my stitching and knitting teaching to support mental health groups in the community and will apply for Lottery funding to support this.
